Ham Lane Site -
The planning application has now been granted on a temporary 3 year license.

  • EXPERTISE WANTED

we need advice on putting electric supply on at ham lane
we need any new or s/hand 50mm angle or box iron
we need help with tree planting
we need help with erecting chain link fencing/ putting up barbed wire
we need help with painting
we need help laying paving slabs for pathway 

there must be members out there with the advice/expertise we require

2010's Street Collection Charities Announced-
When you dig deep into your pockets this year and drop money into the street collectors' buckets you will be generously giving to our two chosen charities:
St. John's Ambulance
and The Victoria Hospital League of Friends.

Both of these charities, you will agree, are more than deserving.

 

 

 

 


Our Night Information

Procession Routes & Times
Full details for our 2010 celebrations will appear here when available.

Parking & Road Closures
The first procession commences at 6.30pm, therefore a road closure will be in force on the Nevill Estate from 6.00pm. Visitors and residents are requested not to park there vehicles on the procession route. Visitors are suggested to park their vehicles on the roads the other side of the Nevill Road (Gundreda Rd, Prince Edwards Rd etc.)

Viewing Public
Members of the public are asked to remain on the pavements while the procession is passing. No members of the public shall be allowed to walk alongside the procession.

Firesite Entrance
Entry to our firesite for members of the public costs £2.50 per person, children under the age of 16 and accompanied by an adult enter free. The Pathways and Public Rights of Way at Landport Bottom running through the firesite will be closed during the evening.

Members of the Procession
Members of the procession are required to march in ranks of three, this is to allow society marshals a clear route through the procession. The drinking of alcohol and discharging of fireworks are not permitted by any member of the procession.

Street Traders
The society is in contact with the street traders we require at our celebrations, any other street traders are urged not to attend our celebrations. If you are a street trader and want to be considered for our future celebrations, email us your details.
