Pioneers & Costumes

The Society has had many pioneer costumes over the years:Indians, Cossacks, Samurai and Valencians.Today the Society has three pioneers:

First Pioneer: Suffragettes

Want to be a suffragette for this year but don't know how to get the costume together?Get in contact with us and we can put you in touch with our suffragette network.There is also an increasing male suffragette contingency in the procession as well now, so there's no excuse not to get involved.

Second Pioneer: Military 1900-1950

We have lots of military costume and kit.There are also several army surplus stores in Brighton and Hailsham that can source your military costume needs.

Third Pioneer: Medieval

We sell a number of medieval costumes, or if you feel up to it, and you want to get into the real bonfire spirit, then you can always make your own!
